पुरी,उड़ीसा ( जनक्रांति हिन्दी न्यूज बुलेटिन कार्यालय बिस्वरंजन मिश्रा न्यूज़ १३ अक्टूबर, 2021 ) । मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक के निर्देशानुसार मुख्यमंत्री के सचिव वीके पांडियन ने आज पुरी स्टेडियम परियोजना स्थल का दौरा किया और चल रहे कार्यों का निरीक्षण किया।

उन्होंने परियोजना की प्रगति की विस्तार से समीक्षा की और कार्य में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री का सपना है कि पुरी को सभी उपयुक्त सुविधाओं से युक्त विश्वस्तरीय विरासत शहर बनाया जाए। उन्होंने पुरी जिले में खेलों के विकास पर चर्चा की।

पुरी शहर में अखाड़ों की एक मजबूत संस्कृति है और कुश्ती, भारोत्तोलन, शरीर सौष्ठव, योग, जिमनास्टिक, मुक्केबाजी इत्यादि जैसे खेलों के विकास के लिए बहुत संभावनाएं हैं।

उन्होंने उपस्थित अधिकारियों से खेल विकास के लिए अखाड़ों का समर्थन करने का पता लगाने के लिए कहा। उन्होंने आगे निर्देश दिया कि नए खेल परिसर में एक आवासीय क्रिकेट अकादमी और कुश्ती अकादमी की स्थापना की जाए।

यह परियोजना "आबाधा" (बुनियादी सुविधाओं का विस्तार और विरासत और वास्तुकला का विकास) योजना का एक हिस्सा है, जो पुरी को एक विश्व स्तरीय विरासत शहर में बदलने का इरादा रखता है। नए खेल परिसर का निर्माण कुल के बजट से किया जा रहा है। रु. 40.00 करोड़।

परिसर में मुख्य रूप से अभ्यास जाल और अन्य सुविधाओं के साथ क्रिकेट स्टेडियम होगा जो रणजी ट्रॉफी सहित प्रथम श्रेणी क्रिकेट मैचों का आयोजन करने में सक्षम होगा।

परिसर में एक ५०-एमएस स्विमिंग पूल, बहुउद्देश्यीय इंडोर हॉल (मुक्केबाजी, कुश्ती, टेबल टेनिस और व्यायामशाला के लिए सुविधाओं के साथ) और एक १००-बैठने वाला खेल छात्रावास भी होगा।

समीक्षा के दौरान आर.विनील कृष्ण, आयुक्त-सह-सचिव, खेल और वाईएस विभाग, समर्थ वर्मा, कलेक्टर, पुरी, खेल और वाईएस विभाग के अधिकारी और कार्यकारी एजेंसी के इंजीनियर उपस्थित थे।

Secretary to CM V K Pandian visits Puri Stadium project site

He reviewed the project progress in detail and directed to expedite the completion.

Puri,Odisha ( Jankranti hindi news bulletin Office Bishwaranhan Mishra News 13 October, 2021) !. As per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to the Chief Minister V K Pandian today visited the Puri stadium project site and supervised the ongoing works.

He reviewed the project progress in detail and directed to expedite the completion. He mentioned that it is the dream of the Chief Minister to make Puri into a World-class Heritage city with all suitable amenities. 

He discussed the development of sports in Puri district. Puri town has a strong  culture of akhadas and there is a lot of scope for development of sports like wrestling, weightlifting, bodybuilding, yoga, gymnastics, boxing etc.

He asked the officials present to explore supporting the akhadas for sports development. He further directed that a residential cricket academy and wrestling academy be  established in the new sports complex. 

The Project is a part of the scheme “ABADHA” (Augmentation of Basic Amenities and Development of Heritage and Architecture) which intends to transform Puri into a World Class heritage City.

The new sports complex is being constructed with an overall budget of Rs. 40.00 Crores. The complex will mainly have the cricket stadium with practice nets and other facilities which will enable organising first-class cricket matches including Ranji Trophy.

The complex will also have a 50-m swimming pool,  Multi Purpose Indoor Hall (with facilities for Boxing, Wrestling, Table Tennis and Gymnasium) and a 100-seated sports hostel. R.Vineel Krishna, Commissioner -cum-Secretary, Sports & YS Department,  Samarth Verma, Collector, Puri, officials from Sports & YS Dept.
